A Steady force returns with eyes on gold

The South Brisbane Wolves are thrilled to announce that Lewis Begg has re-signed for his third season with the club, continuing his journey with the Premier Men’s team into 2025.

Since joining the Wolves in 2022, Lewis has been a steady and reliable presence on the court. Known for his consistency, composure, and work ethic, he has been a key contributor to the team’s back-to-back bronze medal finishes in the Premier Volleyball League. Whether holding the line in defence or making clutch plays when it counts, Lewis has become a trusted figure within the Wolves pack.

“Lewis is one of those players every team needs,” said Wolves Premier Men’s Head Coach Jimee Kiteau. “He shows up, does the work, and sets the standard for those around him. We’re stoked to have him back for another season.”

With the team continuing to grow and evolve, Lewis returns with his sights set firmly on one goal: taking the next step.

“Winning two bronzes has been huge for us, but we’re not satisfied,” Lewis shared. “This club has what it takes to go all the way. I’m more determined than ever to help bring home the gold and be part of something really special.”

Lewis’s re-signing brings both experience and leadership to the squad as they gear up for another massive campaign in 2025. With a strong core returning and exciting new additions on the horizon, the Wolves Premier Men’s team is shaping up to be one to watch.
