From Player to Program Leader - A wolves story of loyalty

The South Brisbane Wolves are proud to announce Jimee Kiteau as the newly appointed Head Coach of the Premier Men’s team for the upcoming 2025 season.

Jimee’s journey with the Wolves is a story of deep commitment and steady growth. Since joining the club in 2021 as a Premier Men’s player, Jimee has steadily made his mark—both on and off the court. Over the years, he has coached across almost every level of the Wolves system, developing athletes from grassroots through to elite squads. Now, he steps into the club’s signature coaching role, leading the Premier Men’s program into an exciting new chapter.

“Jimee has been a core part of the Wolves culture for years,” said Club President Cameron Gore. “He embodies everything we value—commitment, competition and community. We’re thrilled to see him step into this new role and continue shaping our Premier Men's future, building on Ross Symonds's outstanding tenure as our inaugural Premier Men's Head coach.”

Jimee brings not only technical skill and tactical insight, but also a strong connection to the athletes, having walked the same path as many of the players he now leads. His coaching style is known for being player-focused, energetic, and grounded in high expectations.

“It’s an honour to take the reins of this program,” said Jimee. “This club has given me and my family so much since 2021, and I’m grateful for the chance to give back and lead this group into the next season. We’ve got a lot of talent, a strong culture, and I can’t wait to see what we can build together.”

As the Wolves prepare for 2025, there’s a clear sense of momentum building from the program's second bronze medal finish in 2024—and with Jimee Kiteau now at the helm of the Premier Men’s team, the club is excited to continue rising, grounded in strong leadership and a passion for developing excellence striving for the honour to be crowned Premier Men gold medallists.
